Marwan Technology成立于2002年，在該集團公司成立之初，即與一家高科技產業公司合作，為其提供咨詢和原型開發的服務。自此之后，該集團公司已經與多家國際研究機構開展了合作業務。LIBS的研發者都有超過20年的光譜和LIBS分析經驗，其中，LIBS實驗小組的領導者Dr.Vincenzo Palleschi是第一屆國際LIBS大會(2000)的組織者和主席,也是”LIBS, Fundamental and Applications”的編者。

MARWAN TECHNOLOGY is an enterprise working in the field of laser sources and sensors for research and industry. It was born in 2002 as a spin-off from the National Institute for the Physics of Matter (INFM).

The group is composed of five phycisists and two electronic technicians, with specific skills in the fields of optics, quantum electronics, precision mechanics, low noise electronics, use and treatment of special materials and non conventional machining techniques such as EDM (electric discharge machining) and CNC ultrasonic milling. The enterprise was born after a long period of collaboration between the group and the high-technology industry, for advising and prototyping of measurement instruments. The group has already developed collaborations with several international research institutions.
